Operation:
– Press button to turn ON, press again quickly to switch between modes: Cool White – Warm White – Bright – Flash
– Press and hold button to dim light.
– If light has been on for > 3 seconds, press button to turn off.
– Button indicator will shine GREEN when battery capacity is between 100% – 25%.
– When button indicator shines RED, battery capacity is below 25%.
– The battery life depends on the lighting mode in use: Cool white: 20 hours, Warm white: 30 hours, Bright: 12 hours.
– NOTE: Battery life can be extended significantly by dimming the light.
– Remove top diffuser and hang by bottom hook to provide a wider light reach.

The same light intensity of a 75 watt incandescent bulb What surprised me the most about this lantern is that the manufacturer’s claim for light intensity is correct. I recommend that you keep the white light reflector in place to avoid glare from the leds. The main problem that I found with other manufacturer’s led lanterns is that the batteries fail and release their corrosive chemicals into the lantern. It happened with a Coleman lantern on more than one occasion. The explanation for that is unknown. My florescent lanterns don’t have that problem.
Great Lantern I bought this to replace a Duel Fuel Coleman Lantern. It’s probably half the size of the Coleman, weighs less, and puts out about the same amount of light. I also don’t have to worry about catching things on fire with this one! Very bright, I also like the “warm” light setting, and it is easy to dim it if you don’t want full power. A well made, very bright lantern that was less money than the UST 30 Day Lantern.
