Runs off of 8 AA batteries for about 16 hours of run time. If you shorten the length of the LED Strip you will increase the length of run time you will get from the batteries. No durability — worked once then nothing. Bought these to have fun with the kiddos while camping. Worked fine when we received them (yes, I tested upon receipt). But, by the time I recoiled them and took camping, nothing. Changed batteries, nothing. Anything THIS fragile shouldn’t be sold. Worth a shot, but disappointed to say the least.
