Totally adiquate for intended purpose We own lots of higher end optics, all too big and bulky to take to Broadway and symphony and bigger than you want to carry at ball game. These are perfect for that. I tested out back against target used for other optics and although light gathering won’t compete with $3-$500 Binos clarity in general is good. Great Binoculars !!!!! Nothing at all wrong with these binoculars, As with any product you are going to see some negative reviews and I ofcourse read through them before buying. I received my package yesterday and right out of the box they were a breeze to dial in and focus, Very clear picture too! My brother ordered a pair (different brand) that were more expensive, And his were supposed to have the same features (fog proof, water proof etc…) but when he opened his package they were fogged terribly from the cold…
