I had watched a video posted by a woman and I was amazed at how fast this stove got up and burning I tested this stove this weekend on a camping trip with my 7 year old daughter. I had watched a video posted by a woman and I was amazed at how fast this stove got up and burning. With little effort…a few twigs, some birch bark and essentially campfire scraps I used the Bushbox to boil water for my coffee. I think from start to finish it was 10 minutes. I used the brackets that extend the cooktop…a great add on to this kit.

Overall great product, minor things to be aware of though Overall, I really like the product. It works exactly as advertised and I am happy with it for that reason. Just to give you an idea of the heat output, I packed a large metal coffee can full of snow, and then placed it on the already roaring fire (Used 5 inch Tack Strip pieces primarily) and it took about 15 minutes to boil, which isn’t bad considering it started as snow. This yielded about 3-4 cups of usable water.

reviewer says:

Warped Seems well made and really liked it at first. Packaged well. Took a while to arrive from Germany. After a few uses metal warped and won’t fold flat anymore. Bought it a while ago and stopped using it. Still usable but considering it was expensive and practically brand new — warping bothered me. Unsatisfactory!
