A Fantastic Starting Tarp for Hammock Camping I ordered this tarp for a friend of mine putting together a hammock camping setup from scratch. The price was fantastic and with that in mind, this tarp is an incredible value with a few draw backs. I bought the gray and orange version which looks really nice and is easy to match other products to. It came with all the line needed as well as 2 stakes to tie it down. They are not pictured because I bought my own paracord before realizing it was included. If you are curious about starting to…

Great fly- competes with high end ones. Used for Eno. Went camping with the scouts on a 15 mile trek into the Appalachian mountains. I sleep better in a hammock, but usually do dump camping and have a big heavy tarp covering me-which would have been impracticable to carry. So I tried this out. And it got a pretty big test the first night- we ended up in a severe thunderstorm. 40-50 mile per hour winds with at least 3 inches of rain a short period of time. I have to be honest- I was surprised that I stayed bone dry. I was probably the…

Shields from wind, rain, and morning dew! Works great! I’m glad that I bought this so that I have something extra to shield me when I go camping in a hammock. I haven’t slept out in rain yet, but I’m confident that it would protect me.UPDATE (3/21) – I used this when I was camping over the weekend. I slept so soundly that I didn’t even realize that it had rained until I woke up. This rain fly kept me and my hammock completely dry.
