It is just plain old paracord and it will stretch. If you pre-stretch these before you use them, you should be fine. Just keep in mind, they WILL stretch some. The stakes are very light and seem really strong. I tried to bend with my hands and they didn’t bend in the least. These are good light weight aluminum stakes I was in a hurry when I ordered, I should have researched more. These are good light weight aluminum stakes, they have a triangular cross section which is just a bit too large for the common grommet size on my tarps. Trying to use these stakes through a grommet results in the grommet being torn out. The lashing cord and small tensioners worked well. And the bright color of the paracord and small tag lines on the stakes made finding them in the autumn leaves very easy. The hammer is too…
The hammer is nice and light Tent stakes received we’re not as pictured, but they will get the job done. The hammer is nice and light, but I’ll probably end up replacing it with something mutli-functional. Everything else came as pictured and as expected.I’d give 3.5 stars mainly because I didn’t receive what was advertised, but everything was decent quality for the price so they will get 4.
