Better Than Most Brands Great filtering system, crystal clear water, all stainless steel. Two things to note about this: first, the containers have to be thoroughly washed out, not only rinsed. Secondly, before actually consuming the water, it needs to be flushed through at least 2 full fillings. Otherwise the filter leaves a slight after taste from manufacturing/packaging. That’s the case with any filter though.
Poor choice for preppers, Think twice before relying on this filter! Worked until it didn’t, got help from the seller, Good conceptbeen using it continuously for two months without problems, but into the third month the filter just stopped working. UPDATE: I wouldn’t rely on this for emergency water for a family or for any length of time. After filtering less than 1000 gallons (20% of the stated capacity) the filter simply stopped filtering. We filled it once a day, sometimes twice for three plus months, filtering at most 800 gallons. We followed the cleaning instructions and only filtered very clear creek…
