I’d take my family Beach camping twice a year for a week. They were awesome trips however I dreaded the packing and unpacking. I’d put anything big, bulky yet light on my 4WD Roofracks and it took me ages to load , cover it with a tarp and tie it all down and then hope we didn’t hit a Tropical Thunderstorm on the way. I needed to make things easier and faster. I’d seen some large duffel bags (90 to 100L) but they weren’t big enough for what I wanted and they often had stitching that penetrated the inside with water resistant zips with a Velcro cover flap. (at best) In short they aren’t weatherproof. I couldn’t find what I was after so I did my research and developed the Ultimate Adventure Bag

We took our prototypes on a 7 week, 6500 mile camping tour of the Western United States. I needed to test them in ALL conditions. Our bags were dragged over rocks, went through Rocky Mountain snow storms and were subjected to Death Valley Heat. We travelled with all our winter Sleeping gear and compact chairs for a family of 5 in just 2 Adventure bags (See photo – that’s our stuff) We strapped them straight onto the roof of our SUV rental and they never failed.
