The grill breaks down and all components pack up within the hollow side rails for clean and easy transport. The Quattro features variable spacing between grill rods – including a Hot Dog Zone that has narrower spacing to keep hot dogs, sausages, and other smaller items from falling through. The aluminum legs are adjustable (up to 7 inches high) and allow you to find the perfect height between fire and food. Tension-Interlock System offers greater stability and support for cooking heavier items, such as steaks. Good idea and design but I have to question the … Good idea and design but I have to question the use of aluminum for legs. 1st time using the grill and coals from fire fell out near a leg. Within a couple minutes 1/2 the leg had melted away. I’d rather see a little more weight added to the grill and have stainless steel/steel legs. I love everything else about this grill. It has a large cooking surface, holds plenty of weight, and sets up easy as well as packing down small. I know the fire bowl would have helped contain the fire but the…
Great compact grill – watch those fingers! I bought this to set over my Snow Peak GigaPower stove, so I’d have a little more stability for bigger pots. I can adjust it so it is directly on top of the stove so there is no gap between the stove and the grill. Having the legs be separately adjustable is great to even out uneven surfaces like slanted picnic tables. It packs up small, which I also like, although it is heavy a heck.
