Unstable I once bought an electric pencil sharpener that broke on the very first pencil that I put into it. This product is not that good. The weight of the bottle so outweighs the stove that it causes the stove to tilt dramatically, regardless of how the bottle is configured. Yep – they just don’t make them like they used to I bought this stove to replace an older stove I had of the same design. My old stove was over 10 years old and the knobs finally broke off. Instead of trying to find replacement knobs I decided it was about time to just go out and buy another one.I thought this one by Stansport would be an identical replacement – wrong. Great car camper. Yes, this stove tilts. Yes, it’s rather light weight. However, it’s highly compact and has survived several trips already out into the wilderness. It’s simple enough to buy a small rig out of plastic or metal that will hold the propane tank (mine is simply an angle strut support purchased from Home Depot for ~$1.50) that the tank sits on top of for support, and I have no issues afterwards.
