Bargain stove that cooked meals after Hurricane Irma This is a review of the Stansport Single Burner 10K BTU propane stove.Overall I’m quite pleased with this stove. As far as I can tell, it’s exactly the same as a model from Coleman but about 5$ less expensive. After Hurricane Irma, I used this stove on a daily basis for three days. After power was restored, I gifted it to a family member and bought another as a replacement. It’s easy to assemble, stable and strong enough to support a good sized kettle. It’s not as compact…

Great Little Burner The Stansport Single Burner Portable Propane Stove is very good, I used it over the weekend on a camping trip. It will boil water in a small sauce pan in 5 minutes, Also great for making scrambled eggs and bacon. I love the stand it comes with, Keeps the propane bottle sturdy if you have a large skillet for cooking. On low it still puts out a lot of heat, Great little burner. It is worth the price, Better than more expensive out door stoves.

It provides a lot of heat and boils water super quick. It’s too large for back packing but … We purchased this for our 5-day self-supported Baja kayak trip since the small butane-propane canisters we need for our backpacker stove were not available in La Paz. The burner is quite large, but is very stable with the included stand. It provides a lot of heat and boils water super quick. It’s too large for back packing but we’ll probably start using it when car camping. It worked well and definitely worth the price.
