Bought for camping trip I have been looking for a Percolator for my trailer at yard sales and was unable to find one intact. After playing around on AMAZON I came across this Enamel Percolator with four cups. The Percolator had come in just in time before our family camping type. The wide base is a nice feature on this because you can use it on a camp fire or on a stove. First cup of coffee from it tasted better then at home. Friends that had gone camping with us preferred coffee from me rather then their coffee from…
but our coffee turned out great and the percolator cleaned off without any problems Bought this for our family camping trip and the set worked perfectly. One morning we placed the percolator directly over the fire (which concerned me because it turned the majority of it black), but our coffee turned out great and the percolator cleaned off without any problems!
DO NOT BUY!!! ENAMEL DEFECT!!!! Enamel started breaking apart during a recent camping trip. My choices were drink possibly infected water, or drink water that was boiled, but had broken off enamel chips in it. I’m not sure which was going to be worse.
