Best Backpacker Cook Kit Yet Best backpacker cook kit yet in my opinion. I have been using the Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set and I like it, but this cook kit has some characteristics I wish the other had. It is a little wider on the bottom, so my alcohol stove boils water about 2 minutes faster (more efficient). It has a lower center of gravity and I like the design of the nestable cup. It weighs about the same weight as my previous kit, so no concessions there. I think Stanley knocked it out of the park on this…

Great cook set I’m a gear junkie. And for the price, I had to try it out. It’s a very nice pot. It can fit a small propane/butane fuel canister, my BRS Ultralight Camping Gas Stove (the second one I bought here on Amazon), large BIC lighter, box of matches and a small sponge/Brillo pad (cut down 1″x 1″). Great little set Great little set, my only wish is that it had a stainless steel lid and not the plastic one . Other than that no complaints. its a little larger and heavier a backpacking set up but it’s manageable given then functionality of the cup/bowl in one and decent size pot. I’d recommend
