Perfect for pots cooking over very very small fire This was just what we needed for our camping trip! We also sometimes use our portable fire pit in our back yard with the kids to roast hot dogs & marshmellows, so now it’s nice having this to cook up a little side dish of beans using the fire pit too. Nice product for primitive camping This feels really sturdy and well made. It is fairly light and it comes in a nice zippered bag. This went straight into my camping / bugout bag and will be put to further testing this spring. Overall first impression is great. Height adjustment of the legs is not super easy. That’s the only very minor drawback. Also the rubber on the legs will probably melt off with first use. I may remove the rubber before I use it.

The legs extend and also lock in place. You can set a good size pot on this tripod, and it works perfectly. We’ll definitely get a lot of use out it.
