The patented (#D701,721) Solo Stove Titan is the larger version of the original Solo Stove. It is a unique wood burning stove that incorporates a secondary combustion for a more efficient and cleaner burn. The bottom vents allow air to enter and flow up the bottom of the grate to feed the primary combustion, a top down smolder. In addition, air entering in from the bottom vents heats up within the inner wall and rises up and out the top firebox vents causing a secondary combustion at the top of the stove. The Solo Stove Titan actually cooks the smoke out of the wood and then burns the smoke not once, but twice! This technique makes for a cleaner burn which means less smoke and higher efficiency.

Forget the Fuel: Our stoves cook your meals with nothing but the twigs you collect on your journey, eliminating the need for heavy, expensive, polluting petroleum gas. It’s easy to light, fast to boil and clean to use.

Gasify your Wood: A unique gasification and secondary combustion process lets our stoves achieve a highly efficient and more complete burn. This means you’ll use fewer twigs to achieve a boil. It also means less smoke while cooking.

Travel Lighter: The Solo Stove Titan only weighs 16.5 oz and eliminates the need to carry fuel canisters – a great way to lighten your load. It also nests inside most pots leaving you with more space in your pack.

Stay Green: By using renewable resources for fuel instead of petroleum, you’re reducing your carbon footprint. You’ll also keep fuel canisters out of the landfill.

Be Prepared: The Solo Stove is great for emergency situations.

Excellent Product That Fills a Need A quick intro to me (so you know where I’m coming from with my review): I’m almost always on a budget, so I’m always on the hunt for the absolute best way to spend my money. I don’t like gimmicks and I don’t like flashy “high tech” gear that tries to be ultra-lightweight while sacrificing value (i.e. costing itself right out of my budget). I hit the trail and backcountry twice, maybe three times per year, so I want to make the most out of my cherished days away–so I want things to work…

they nest into a nice neat little package I purchased the Solo Titan stove & 1800 pot, they nest into a nice neat little package. Pulling all the parts out of the two snugly fitting drawstring bags and setting up for a burn takes about 45 seconds. They work quite well for a personal fire, but are not probably a good plan if you are cooking a lot of food. A group of campers could each tend a fire and divide up the cooking for a feast, however. It takes about 10-15 minutes to boil 60oz of water, depending on the heat of your fire and…

wonderful wood burning stove wonderful wood burning stove, very well constructed and durable. A key component to a great cook with this stove is of course your fuel. If you take the time to process the best available fuel in your locale and process it into the best sizes you will have amazing results. Lower quality fuel will smoke and burn too rapidly. Use a quality saw such as a Silky gomboy or similar to obtain dead branches of about an inch or so in diameter….then cut or saw them into two inch or so…
