If you only can buy one…this should be it! I just picked up this stove and am glad I did. It gives you the versatility of running both gas and liquid fuels.
Great stove for my bicycle tour. I purchased this for versatility as it uses multiple fuel types. Canister fuel is fine in developed areas, but you can find gasoline pretty much anywhere. I’ve not used it in the field yet but have tested it around home and it works very well. Not nearly as loud as some other canister stoves. I have no negatives at this point but will update after use in the field.
Amazing – wished I had purchased one sooner. This stove is an amazing little thing. I took this on a backpacking trip a few months back. I carried one 20 oz. bottle of white gas with me. After cooking meals for 3 people for 3 days, I still had fuel left. I have only used this with white gas so far. Changing out the fittings proved to be very easy. I did watch a few youtube videos first. If my power ever goes out, I know what I will be cooking with.
