35FW is a Superb Stove Superb stove using it with a 12″ carbon steel wok and a Gas One canister. I was in *mart the other day and noticed Coleman Butane canisters. They were comparatively expensive but was curious as to whether, in a pinch, they would work as it seemed this stove accepted all canisters.They do not.The tops of the canisters are magnetic, however they will not work. Portable stove, good. Case, useless. We tested the stove briefly, and it appears to be fine. Our friends who have this model rave about it, so we are optimistic that we bought the best one.However, one clasp on the case was broken and fell off as soon as we unpacked it. Works great, but parts are limited. We have been using this model for nearly five years, on a daily basis. Boils water super fast! It works great, but with a few quirks. As others have mentioned, maintaining a very low “simmer” heat is a challenge, as the burner doesn’t seem to like being set that low. It is also true that the fuel will pop off the mount if it gets too hot. I find that it only does this when I’m cooking on cast iron at high heat for extended periods of time, like when deep frying.Regarding…
