Affordable Quality Portable “Beastie” Grill! My item arrived with lightning speed although it was shipped across the country. It comes about 95% assembled…you just have to unwrap the grease pan, flame tamers, and grate and put them where they belong. I used pure lard to season the grate because it leaves no residue when placed over high temps. Love it. Love it…..was looking for a portable grill that cooked like a full size and this is it…..very well built…heats up fast…..great size and still fits on the end of a picnic table!!!
Pretty good for the prcie, but different than full size It can run a bit hot it you’re not careful but having two controlled burners versus many with one gives you more flexibility. Its lower interior height takes some adjusting to as you’re closer to the burners. So far it’s been much easier to clean than my full sized Weber. At this point my only concern is the deflectors as at higher temps they glow red which could suggest quicker deteriorization. The temp gage is great, but is moisture prone. Nonetheless, I’m happy with the purchase.
