Fun for pretend play… My grandkids enjoy playing like they are camping in our back yard (or in the house in bad weather). I surprised them with this camp stove. They love it – especially the sounds it makes. The sounds aren’t perfect imitations of boiling water or sizzling bacon/meat, but they’re still fun. I bought another one of these stoves for my other grandkids too. They have a good time “camping” too! The kids are all toddler to 6 years old, so this stove has held up well.

It Sizzles! I purchased this toy for my 5 year old granddaughter’s birthday. It was one of several pretend camping toys that were meant to be played with together. She liked it, but her 6 and 7 year old sisters liked it better. It makes a sizzling or boiling noise. We couldn’t figure out how to turn it off, so we just left it alone and it eventually turned itself off. They used it to prepare pretend camper’s meals. 3 year old Granddaughter loves this! She already has the play kitchen and food, but this took play to another level. Bought her an indoor tent as well and she just went camping in the living room and play made her own dinner! Love it!
