The Eccotemp L10 Portable Tankless Water Heater delivers up to 2.6 Gallons Per Minute of hot water ranging from 80-145 degrees Fahrenheit: plenty for 1-2 hot water applications running at the same time. The 2 “D” cell battery ignition starts the flame only when water is running, so there’s no chance of overheating. It is perfect for off grid or areas where you have limited electricity. The L10 comes with standard 1/2″ NPT fittings. The ideal operating range is 20-80 PSI. The system also works great on modified water systems with items such as a 12-volt pump. Parts didn’t work – Company didn’t stand behind the product I am giving this heater 2 stars because I spent literally hours of trouble shooting and had to call a plumber coming out twice and was still not able to get it to work. I finally got it to work myself by replacing a defective part (the regulator) even though that was not one of the solutions suggested by the Eccotemp’s technical service guy. I had to call a plumber out to run a water line to it and hook it up. It wouldn’t work, and the plumber told me he had no experience with this actual unit,…
best way to fill my hillbilly tub this heater will fill my outdoor bath tub with piping hot water in just under 40 min.i had been heating with various improvised methods but this is by far the quickest most economical way to get unlimited hot water. i did add a valve to turn the water on and off at the heater, this way i can easily reset the twenty minute timer and have more hot tub heaven! after reading other reviews of this heater i figured i’d better comment on the flow vs. temp issue…in my case i have well water, it comes…
Garbage product and worthless warranty Buyer beware big time on this – I bought one of these only about 8 months ago and have had it in use only maybe 4 months. One day the unit started leaking quite a bit, water everywhere, leaking into their poorly placed battery compartment – All I can say is that this company will do nothing but give the run around when your unit starts leaking within the warranty period. They had me take apart the unit with zero direction on how to do so and photograph the leaks before they’ed even talk to me…
