I used the frying pan once to make sautéed potatoes and we found ourselves eating flakes of the black coating. I had read the reviews so was very careful not to scrape the bottom of the pan, and used a flexible soft plastic spatula, but it didn’t matter.I haven’t used the rest of the set yet, we’ll see what happens with them, but I’m not…

DO NOT BUY I liked it when I received it but soon the coating peeled off and started rusting. I only used it couple of times at home. NOT EVEN at the comping!! It was such a waste of Money. I was so disappointed on Coleman’s brand name. I bought this with Coleman Speckled Enamelware Dining Kit (Red) because it was cheaper to buy this two item together. It was the worst purchase I ever made on online purchase

This set is a heavy set not recommended for backpacking do to the excessive weight This set is a heavy set not recommended for backpacking do to the excessive weight. The red rubber although is pretty milts off first use so don’t expect it to stay on al all. The handles are heavy duty so once the mess of the milt is over they stay in place and lock back against body of pan for storage.
