After weeks of research OK, after a few weeks of research in finding the right camping pot(s) for the family, it came down to this one, and Texsport Black Ice The Scouter Hard Anodized Cook Set. Funny thing is, unknowingly I already owned the Texsport Black Ice The Scouter Hard Anodized Cook Set (wife bought it, but we never used it). So when I was organizing my camping stuff one day (and after buying the Coghlans 1324), I found this set. Wife claims that she told me, but I have selective hearing.
Great cook set for the money. This is nice set of cookware for the money. I do a lot of camping, hiking etc. I bought this set to be a multipurpose cook set and it works great for that. I bring what I need for solo trips or the whole set for group camp trips. They have strainer lids on the pots and they heat well. Water boils quickly and clean up is easy. I have used the set several times and it is holding up well. It’s a great alternative to more expensive sets of similar size.
Good Base Camp Cooking Set We purchased this set to use in our camp trailer, and we finally had a chance to use them over the weekend, and they proved themselves to have been a wise purchase. They stow well, and do not work against the limited space, or low strength of the cabinet we store them in.
