During a three day jungle trek all we had was tap water from the remote villages. Three of us used the Purewell for our drinking water and had no stomach issues.
Good Size. Two stage filtration. Overall a 5star bottle. Great bottle. Good size. I like this very much and am getting a second one for the office.Things I like about it:- Perfect size.- Has two stage filter, and filters even outdoor sources of water (although I use it for tap water)- Leak proof (no drips anywhere)Things that can be improved:- Alters the taste a bit initially. But this bad taste went away after about a day or so- Requires some effort to suck up the water.
If you’re looking for a straw filter, get a water bottle filter like this instead. This is a great little set up. Water bottle is the perfect size for taking out camping/backpacking. I never buy paracord bracelets since I usually get them as freebies in camping purchases, so I’m glad I got another one with this. Flint and steel on it works perfectly. I’ve had the life straw for years and it’s way cool but doesn’t include a drinking container like this.
