Easy setup, leaks like a sieve. I set this tent out on some property I own for a secluded work area. The setup was easy. It is nicely spacious and comfortable … until it rains. This $800 tent leaked through the ceiling and walls. Everything was soaked and some electronics were ruined. My $129 plastic popup tent stood in this same spot for three years, through rain, wind, snow, and hot summers. Never had an issue. Awesome tent. The sewing of the liner to the tent canvas Iâm not sure why thereâs no tape sewn in. But the Kodiak doesnât have it either. The thread holes will leech water but we solved this by caulking the thread line. I can say the liner is not as bathtub thick, but it has a nice texture to it.For the Springbar it has exceptional zippers. They arenât complex.
