Great fort, with one safety flaw……. My boys (1 1/2 and 5 1/2 years old) received this fort for Christmas. My dad put it together single-handedly, he said it took him about 2 1/2 days working on it off and on. It went together smoothly for him. We made two modifications to the fort. We did not install the kitchen shelf to allow more room inside the fort. Also, the windows on the fort seemed unsafe to us, especially the window behind the bench seat. Excellent Playhouse for Toddlers, Preschoolers Assembling this playhouse requires some organization, but is definitely feasible for two adults, one drill, and a little patience. Be prepared to make some basic modifications to meet your specific needs. For example, the windows, particularly the back window, present a probable fall hazard.
