Worh much more than advertised I’ve been professionally sharpening with Japanese whetstone for over 20 years and made a good living at it. I’ve had pocket knives from the best or best known manufacturer to custom made from some of the best. I ordered this on a whim and was beyond impressed with the quality. Could easily be sold at 3 times the price with D2 steel if they changed their name. Seriously one of the best buys in pocket knives around. On a foot note would love to see them use different style of steels for variety…
Screws loose This is the third Eafengrow knife I’ve purchased in the last year. They’re great blades and the opening action is spot on, but the screws holding them together tend to fall out on all the knives…Naturally, it’s tough to find replacement screws for knives like this so if you do purchase these, I highly suggest you unscrew every screw on the knife and drop a bit of superglue onto each screw and screw them back in…That should fix it. If you’re listenin’ Eafengrow, I’d love to get a hold on…

Had I looked at it closer I would not have ordered it. First of all, it is tip down only carry which I don’t like. Secondly, you need a special tool to take apart the pivot which is not provided. I sufficed with a paper clip but they call me McGuiver. I took off the pocket clip and reprofiled the much too thick blade so it would slice better, still a thick behind the edge blade but strong. It’s nice looking and works well…
