Great stove with simmer control We have 4 minimo’s for our family of backpackers. I am a huge fan of the regulator control on the jetboil, especially when I want to simmer food. My boys asked me to figure out how to dump some weight after our last trip to Seneca Creek backcountry in WV. I decided to start with the stove system. I have always been impressed with how fast the minimo is able to boil water. It doesn’t seem to matter if I am in 15F weather with wind or sitting in 90F on the beach, this thing just boils water…

Exceptional customer service I’ve had problems with Zet Boil products.Had a Zip Boil that I had to send back. Then I had to send the Mighty Mo back too. Was expecting a new one , but got back the one I sent for repairs. Not pleased with the fact that it was only half repaired. Plus I had to paid to ship it back. Not going to purchase Jet Boil products anymore.UpdateJetboil contacted me about my review. After a talk on the phone and a email all is great! Exceptional customer service…

Fragile Ignition System Loved it when it arrived, but the auto igniter broke after the fourth time using it. The spark fails to reach the tip of the coil so now it’s a overpriced manual ignition stove. Other than that it would have been a five star rating, this thing can simmer like a champ and turn into a blowtorch to boil water in no time flat. I contacted the seller and they informed me it’s a discontinued model and he was not able to help me. Lesson learned.
